Chocolate Peanut Butter Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 2 ½ cups milk or milk alternative
  • 1/2 cup protein powder (preferably vanilla or chocolate for extra flavor)
  • 3 tablespoons peanut butter
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 ½ tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)

Preparation Instructions

  1. Combine all of the ingredients in the base of a blender and blend on high until smooth.
  2. Pour the mixture into the GreenPan Frost mixing bowl and cover with the mixing bowl cover.
  3. Select the Milkshake mode, L2 or L3, depending on your desired consistency. Churn until it turns to Cool and beeps.
  4. Serve in chilled glasses.

Tips

  • Like any great smoothie, you can prep the mix ahead of time and keep it in your refrigerator until you’re ready to churn it.
  • For best results, make sure the protein powder and cocoa powder are completely blended in before pouring into the machine.
