Warranty

Warranty

We are pleased to offer the following limited warranty (the “warranty”) on all non-electrical products to the original purchaser (“you”) on production of proof of purchase. The benefits provided under our warranty are in addition to other rights and remedies available to you under the Australian Consumer Law (if you purchased your product in Australia).

What does our warranty cover?
We warrant that the products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of two years from purchase when used for normal domestic use and in accordance with our use and care recommendations.

What is not covered by the warranty?
Our warranty does not cover any defects or damage caused by:
(a) failing to use the product in accordance with our use and care recommendations;
(b) misuse or negligent handling;
(c) accidental damage;
(d) normal wear and tear;
(e) exposure of the product to abnormally corrosive conditions;
(f) consumable items or accessories that by their nature have limited lifespan or require periodic renewal;
(g) freight or any other costs incurred in making a claim
(h) accessories and cutlery

What are your warranty remedies?
We will replace or repair (at our discretion) product which is the subject of a valid warranty claim free of charge. A product presented for repair may be replaced by a refurbished product of the same type rather than being repaired. Refurbished parts may be used to repair the product.

How do you exercise your rights under the warranty?
Please contact our Customer Service Department at 1800-918-480 or by e-mail at customercare@greenpan.com.au. As used in this warranty, “we” or “our” refers to The Cookware Company Australia Pty Ltd of Level 21, 55 Collins St Melbourne. You must have pictures of the defect, the original proof of purchase documentation for the product and present it when requested.
You should take all reasonable steps and precautions to ensure that the Product(s) you order are suitable for your purposes. You must follow any advice that we give you in relation to Product(s) (including instructions, user guides and/or manuals provided with Product(s)). We do not accept liability for damage to Product(s) that we have supplied where caused by your failure to follow our advice.

Statutory Rights
Our Product(s) come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the Product(s) repaired or replaced if the Product(s) fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure .
