Q: What is Thermolon™ ceramic non-stick?

Thermolon™ is GreenPan's ceramic non-stick coating, made from sand-derived materials turned into a sprayable solution and applied to the pan without the need for glues or PFAS additives. This process ensures the coating is manufactured without intentionally added PFAS, lead, or cadmium, allowing you to cook worry-free.

Q: Does Thermolon™ heat faster than other coatings?

Yes, Thermolon™ heats faster than other coatings due to its excellent heat conduction properties that are enhanced by real diamonds. It's recommended to cook at low to medium heat to prevent food from burning.

Q: Are your pans really green?

Thermolon™ is manufactured without intentionally added PFAS, lead, or cadmium, and the curing process produces 60% fewer CO₂ emissions than conventional non-stick coatings.

Q: How should I care for my cookware?

To care for your cookware, use low to medium heat and silicone or wood utensils to prevent damaging the coating. Let the pan cool before washing and clean with a soft sponge and warm, soapy water. Do not use abrasive cleaning products such as steel wool or harsh scrubbing brushes.

Q: How to clean GreenPan?

Let the pan cool before washing and clean with a soft sponge and warm, soapy water. Do not use abrasive cleaning products, harsh sponges, or brushes. To deep clean your pan, fill it halfway with water and bring it to a near boil for about 2 minutes. Pour out the water, then use a melamine sponge and a little plain water on the warm surface for the interior. For the exterior, mix baking soda with water to form a paste, and rub it over the stained area with a paper towel.

Q: Can I use metal utensils?

While GreenPan's coating is durable, it's recommended to use wooden, silicone, or nylon utensils to preserve the ceramic non-stick surface for longer. Avoid using metal utensils to extend the life of your cookware.

Q: My pan’s surface is scratched, is that a problem?

Light scratches, dents, or pits in the coating won't affect the safety or performance of your pan. You can continue to use it without concern.

Q: What stovetops can I use my pans on?

GreenPan cookware is compatible with a variety of stovetops. Please make sure to look at the product features of each pan to see the compatible stovetops.
