Lemon Sorbet
Not just a palate cleanser, this lemon sorbet is the perfect balance of sweet and tart. This creamy sorbet is the perfect treat or a great addition to a glass of iced tea.

Ingredients
- 3 large lemons, zested
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup water
- Pinch of kosher salt
- 3/4 cup fresh lemon juice (from above lemons)
- 1 ½ cups water
- Lemon simple syrup, from above

Preparation Instructions
- Make the simple syrup by stirring all of the ingredients together in a small saucepot over medium heat. Cook until the sugar has dissolved completely. Cool.
- Once the simple syrup is cool, whisk it with the fresh lemon juice and water.
- Pour the mixture into the GreenPan Frost mixing bowl and cover with the mixing bowl cover.
- Select the Sorbet mode, L1. Churn until it turns to Cool and beeps.
- Serve immediately or extrude into an airtight container and freeze.
Tips
Use a microplane to zest the lemons or, if you don’t have one, use a vegetable peeler to remove the zest and then thinly slice. This sorbet has the ultimate lemon flavor with the zest left in, but if you don’t like it, you are welcome to strain it out of the simple syrup.
