Mixed Berry Ice Cream
Use that summer bounty of fresh berries or grab a bag of frozen berries; either way, make this when you want to savor the sweetness of berries and summer all year long.

Ingredients
- 2 cups fresh mixed berries such as strawberries, blueberries and blackberries, washed and drained (if using frozen berries, thaw first)
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar or honey
- 2 cups whole milk
- 3/4 cup heavy cream
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt

Preparation Instructions
- Combine the berries, sugar and milk in the carafe of a blender and blend on high until smooth. Strain through a fine mesh sieve into a medium mixing bowl. Whisk in the cream, vanilla and salt.
- Pour the mixture into the GreenPan Frost mixing bowl and cover with the mixing bowl cover.
- Select the Soft Ice Cream mode, L4. Churn until it turns to Cool and beeps.
- Serve immediately or extrude into an airtight container and freeze.
