  • 3/4 cup heavy cream, warm

Preparation Instructions

  1. To make the caramel sauce: Place the sugar and water in a heavy-bottomed saucepan or pan over medium-low heat until the sugar dissolves but do not stir! If needed, you can gently swirl the pan, but stirring will cause the sugar to crystallize (and you will have to start over). Boil until it turns a deep amber color then immediately remove from the heat.
  2. Carefully pour in the warm cream and melted butter. This will steam and bubble up quite a bit, so be prepared. Whisk until smooth then whisk in the salt. Taste and add more salt if desired. Cool to room temperature.
  3. To make the milkshakes: In a medium mixing bowl, whisk all of the ingredients until smooth and combined.
  4. Pour the mixture into the GreenPan Frost mixing bowl and cover with the mixing bowl cover.
  5. Select the Milkshake mode, L4. Churn until it turns to Cool and beeps.
  6. Serve immediately in chilled glasses drizzled with salted caramel.

Tips

  • The leftover caramel sauce can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 month. Bring to room temperature or warm before using.
  • Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the freezer.
