Vanilla Glazed Baked Donuts
Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons soft butter
- 1 egg
- 100ml milk
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- 80g powdered sugar
- 1 tablespoon melted butter
- 10ml milk (or more if the glaze is too thick)
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- Sprinkles (optional)
- 1 drop blue food colouring (optional)

Preparation Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180oC.
- In a large bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In a small bowl, mix together the egg, milk, butter and vanilla extract.
- Combine the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients until they’re well combined.
- Pipe about ¾ cup donut batter into each well of your donut pan.
- Bake for 8 to 10 minutes.
- In a small bowl, mix together the powdered sugar, butter, milk and vanilla. Add food colouring and stir.
- Spoon mixture over donuts, add sprinkles.
- Let glaze set at room temperature.
